Loomstate for Target

Hunkalicious! Eco-friendly and a bit funky, too, Fashionista just leaked the Loomstate for Target lookbook and – amazing news – Target isn’t leaving out the dudes this time around!

No info on when the collection will drop, but if I had to guess I’d say summer considering the easy, breezy looks. I hate to preach, but these collections are surprisingly, amazingly, wonderfully fruitful collaborations bringing great design to – now – everyone!

The high/low is always ultra chic.

Ladies and gents, we’ll keep you updated.

Good news, friends. The McQueen for Target collection – featured in Pop-Up Shops at New York Fashion Week – is available online now.

It looks like all of the pieces are available, shipping now or on pre-order for delivery in 2-6 weeks.

The black gore skirt is a killer purchase – a basic at a great price. Have a look because a piece of surreptitiously edgy McQueen can do great things for your self-esteem.

Naughty, Naughty!

Agent Provocateur to Oak St.

It’s exactly what Chicago needs.

According to Crain’s Chicago Business, the sizzling hot London-based lingerie purveyor is planning to set up shop at 47 E. Oak St. Best news yet, they’ll hopefully be open in time for the holiday season.

And, since we’ll all be spending a little more time indulging in what the social economists are calling ‘recession sex,’ gear up! A shot of sexy lingerie is the easiest way to get a confidence boost.

Happy holidays indeed.

Erin Wasson’s Chloe Boot

Via: The New York Times, 8.24.08.

Salivate with me for a second.

This is the new shoe, ladies and gentlemen. It’s short, not stilletto, substantive, and rock-chic.

Known as the Beatle boot, legend has it the first pair was crafted in October 1961, the vision the Beatles’ Lennon, McCartney, and British shoemaker Anello & Davide. The pointy toe, Cuban heel, and rock detail are, let’s be honest here, fantastic. Androgynous in a rich-grunge, carefree way. The perfect foil for Fall/Winter ’08.

Get in line to grab the Chloé pair pictured above (as owned by the fab Erin Wasson) or (Read: cheaper and pretty good, they sold out at the trunk shows this summer before ever hitting the stores) the Beatle style by Sigerson Morrison. You might also go scouring the vintage stalls in the UK for a truly authentic pair, or, at the other end of the spectrum, wait for the inevitable Steve Madden knock-off.
